David Jiménez and Cestero experienced a landmark night as they made their official debuts for Real Madrid in the Copa del Rey clash against Talavera. Jiménez was handed a starting role at right-back and completed the full 90 minutes, while Cestero came on late in the match, replacing Dani Ceballos in the 86th minute.
Jiménez is currently in his second season with Castilla and represents a true product of La Fábrica. He joined Real Madrid back in 2013, starting with the Under-10 B team, and has now spent 13 years at the club. The defender is also a Spain Under-19 international and has already lifted both the Juvenil Copa del Rey and the Copa de Campeones Juvenil.
Cestero, meanwhile, is enjoying his first campaign with Castilla. He arrived at Real Madrid in 2019 as part of the Under-14 A squad and has steadily climbed through every youth level. His appearance against Talavera marked the culmination of that journey, sealing his long-awaited first-team debut.
