Dani Ceballos appears to be nearing the end of his spell at Real Madrid, with Ajax emerging as the leading contender to secure the midfielder's signature.
The Dutch club is reportedly in advanced talks with Real Madrid, and negotiations are said to be progressing positively as both sides work toward an agreement.
According to the report, Ceballos could move to the Eredivisie side in a deal worth around €6 million, with the transfer now close to being finalized.
The midfielder from Utrera has struggled to secure a consistent role in the Real Madrid squad, and a move to Ajax could offer him the opportunity for greater playing time and a fresh challenge in Dutch football.
If the deal is completed, it would bring an end to Ceballos' time at the Santiago Bernabéu after several seasons with the club.
