The refereeing committee believes the incident with Vinicius was handled correctly and has therefore dismissed the club’s objections.

Florentino Pérez addressed the situation with irony during Real Madrid’s traditional Christmas lunch, recalling that the club had once again been overseen by a referee who had previously threatened legal action against them, while fouls on Vinicius and Rodrygo continued to go unpunished, something he described as “the novelty of this season.”
