The Brazilian winger had been instrumental in the victory over Getafe last Sunday, coming off the bench in the second half to change the course of the game and provoking two red cards for Bordalás’s side.

Courtois didn’t hold back when speaking about his teammate: “It’s not easy. When he was 18, many of you have made fun of him. He didn’t do anything wrong — he came on and they went after him.
