Real Madrid’s sporting director, José Ángel Sánchez, and Vinícius Jr.’s agent, Tatá Soares, were seen at the club’s Valdebebas headquarters yesterday morning, marking the second visit of the Brazilian star’s representative to the training complex this week.
The back-to-back meetings have fueled speculation regarding the 25-year-old forward’s future, as negotiations over his contract extension appear to be gathering pace.
Their first meeting took place last week, with reports indicating that discussions centered on prolonging Vinícius’s current deal, which is set to expire in June 2027. Yesterday’s follow-up suggests a renewed push to secure an agreement before the start of the new season.
Sánchez—one of the architects of the club’s transfer and renewal strategies—is reportedly working on a proposal that includes a salary increase and performance-related bonuses, aimed at reflecting Vinícius’s growing influence and status within the squad.
