Real Madrid could receive an unexpected transfer offer this summer, with Álvaro Carreras reportedly attracting interest from Chelsea.

According to TEAMtalk, the Premier League club has made fresh inquiries about the Spanish left-back as it looks to strengthen the position ahead of next season. After Marc Cucurella's departure to Real Madrid, Chelsea are searching for a replacement and have identified Carreras as one of their targets.

Real Madrid had initially planned to part ways with one left-back during the summer and already achieved that objective with Fran García's move to Real Betis. As a result, Carreras is no longer considered a player the club is actively looking to sell.

However, reports suggest Los Blancos would only consider opening negotiations if an offer exceeding €50 million arrives. Anything below that valuation is unlikely to tempt the club into a sale.

If Chelsea decide to pursue the transfer, Real Madrid could face the prospect of losing a second left-back in the same window. In that scenario, Eduardo Camavinga could emerge as a backup option on the left side of the defense, having previously played in that role on multiple occasions.
