Real Madrid have confirmed that Dani Ceballos has suffered a muscle injury in the soleus of his right leg following tests carried out by the club’s Medical Services. The official statement notes that his recovery will be monitored in the coming weeks.
The diagnosis rules the midfielder out of Wednesday’s match against Benfica, as well as Monday’s La Liga fixture against Getafe.
Given that the injury is a muscle tear in the soleus, the expected recovery time is estimated to be between four and six weeks, depending on how the player responds to treatment and rehabilitation.
