Real Madrid Castilla won a thrilling reserve team derby against Atlético Madrileño at the Alfredo Di Stéfano Stadium.
Carvajal opened the scoring with a spectacular individual effort, giving López de Lerma's side the lead. Atlético Madrileño equalized in stoppage time through A. Yaakobishvili, whose long-range effort took a deflection off Mario Rivas before finding the net.
Castilla regained the advantage in the 61st minute when Diego Aguado converted from the penalty spot. Atlético Madrileño levelled again five minutes later after another penalty was saved, but Yáñez restored Castilla's lead in the 71st minute to complete a 3-2 victory.
It was a hard-fought match, with Castilla ultimately securing a well-deserved win in the reserve team derby.
