Real Madrid have already come to terms with the fact that Carlo Ancelotti will leave the club at the end of the current season. The Italian coach, who has carved out a legendary legacy in the Spanish capital, will be honored as a club icon upon his departure. Meanwhile, his next step appears increasingly clear, with mounting reports linking him to the Brazilian national team, which is currently seeking a new manager following the exit of Dorival Jr.
This development was addressed by Ramón Álvarez de Mon in a recent video on his YouTube channel. “It’s already been agreed with Real Madrid that Ancelotti will leave, and he’ll be given the farewell of a legend,” he stated. “Although Ancelotti will continue to deny this in press conferences, he’s aware of the situation. I believe he’s handling it with maturity and intelligence, focusing on the objectives that remain this season. If it were up to him, he would stay—I have no doubt. But he already knows he won’t be continuing, and coaching Brazil appeals to him more than taking charge of another club.”
Mon went on to hint at possible future plans, including a potential presentation at the Maracanã Stadium and ongoing discussions about Ancelotti’s possible residence in Brazil.
It also appears that his son and assistant, Davide Ancelotti, will be leaving the club as well, reportedly preparing for a solo managerial career, most likely in the United Kingdom.
As Real Madrid prepare for life after Ancelotti, they aim to finish the season on a high, with the Copa del Rey final, LaLiga title race, and the upcoming Club World Cup still on the horizon.
