Real Madrid and Sergio Llull have reached an agreement to extend the captain's contract, keeping him at the club until the end of the 2026/27 season.
Llull joined Real Madrid in 2007 and has since become one of the greatest legends in the history of the basketball section. Across 20 seasons wearing the white jersey, he has won 29 trophies, including three EuroLeague titles, one Intercontinental Cup, nine Liga Endesa championships, seven Copa del Rey trophies and nine Spanish Super Cups.
The veteran guard is also the player with the most appearances in Real Madrid basketball history, having represented the club 1,249 times.
Beyond his achievements on the court, Llull has become a symbol of Real Madrid's values through his commitment, leadership and loyalty, continuing as one of the key figures of the team.
