Eduardo Camavinga has become the biggest obstacle to Real Madrid's plans to reshape the squad this summer.

The club had hoped to reduce the size of the squad through several departures after last season, but those plans have largely fallen short. So far, only Fran García and Dani Ceballos have left, with the latter departing on a free transfer.

Meanwhile, José Mourinho has requested at least two more signings: a central defender and a midfielder capable of dictating play. However, Real Madrid's board has reportedly made it clear that no further arrivals will be approved until more players leave.

Camavinga was expected to be one of the main departures. The French midfielder is reportedly not part of Mourinho's plans and, given his market value, the club believes his sale could help finance new additions.

Despite that, Camavinga has no intention of leaving the Santiago Bernabéu. The 23-year-old has informed both the club and his representatives that he will reject any transfer offers, despite receiving significant interest from several clubs.

According to CaughtOffside, Manchester United remain keen on signing the French international and are waiting for any indication that he may reconsider his stance before making a formal move. However, convincing the player is seen as the biggest challenge, with Real Madrid reportedly valuing him at around €50 million.
