Brahim Díaz was one of Real Madrid’s standout performers during their visit to Riazor, and after the match, he spoke to Realmadrid TV to share his thoughts on the game.

The Málaga native played in a more central position than usual and expressed his satisfaction with the role José Mourinho gave him. "You'll have to ask him about that," he joked, before explaining his responsibilities: "That in these matches I should drop inside, be another midfielder, and help in the build-up play. So I'm happy about that."

Brahim also analyzed his goal, the only one Real Madrid scored on the night. "Lunin saw me well and made the pass. I think controlling it with my chest gave me a great advantage to keep going," he explained. "Then I placed it slightly in front of me and finished well. It was a nice goal, but all the credit goes to Lunin," he added, sharing the credit with the Ukrainian goalkeeper who provided the assist.

The forward also expressed his excitement about the upcoming season. "It's going to be a wonderful and incredible year," he predicted. "I'm very happy with the coach and all my teammates. We want to continue making history; this is Real Madrid," he concluded, highlighting the club’s ambition ahead of a season in which the team will look to rediscover its identity under Mourinho’s leadership.
