Real Madrid has already started planning for next season following a campaign that ended without major titles, leading the club to evaluate both possible arrivals and departures ahead of the summer transfer window.
One of the players attracting growing attention is Víctor Valdepeñas, considered one of the standout talents from Real Madrid’s academy system. The Castilla full-back is reportedly expected to leave the club in a move similar to other transfers involving promising young players who do not currently have a pathway into the first team.
Despite his potential, Real Madrid reportedly believes that a departure would be the best option for the player’s development, while still leaving open the possibility of a future return.
According to Sky Sports Germany, Eintracht Frankfurt has already opened negotiations to sign Valdepeñas this summer. The Bundesliga side reportedly considers the defender one of its priority targets and is pushing to complete the operation in the coming weeks.
However, the German club is not alone in the race. Borussia Dortmund has also shown interest in the player, while Arsenal remains attentive after previously monitoring his situation earlier this year.
Competition for the young defender is therefore expected to intensify during the summer window.
