Jude Bellingham has been named England’s Player of the Year for the 2024-25 season, an award decided by fan votes and presented by the FA. The Real Madrid midfielder finished ahead of Declan Rice and Harry Kane in the voting.

It is the first time Bellingham has received this honor since the award’s creation in 2003, and only the second time it has gone to a player based outside England—the last being Owen Hargreaves in 2006.

During the season, Bellingham featured in eight matches for England, playing a key role in helping the Three Lions secure promotion to League A of the UEFA Nations League. He scored against Greece at Wembley in October, earned MVP honors in the 5-0 win over the Republic of Ireland in November (adding two assists), and provided another assist in the March clash with Albania.
