Real Madrid continues to make its mark in women’s football. Athenea del Castillo and Linda Caicedo have been named among the 26 candidates for the 2025 FIFPRO Women’s World11, a recognition voted by professional footballers across the globe.
The final selection will be revealed on November 3 at 2:00 p.m. via FIFPRO’s digital platforms.
The evaluation period covers performances between August 11, 2024, and August 3, 2025, with a minimum of 20 official matches required to be eligible.
Former Real Madrid star Olga Carmona, who left the club last May, is also among the nominees, further underlining the growing influence of Real Madrid Femenino in world football.
