Raúl Asencio has undergone successful surgery performed by renowned traumatologist Manuel Leyes at the Olympia Center in Madrid. The Real Madrid defender underwent the procedure to correct a stress fracture in his right tibia, an injury he had been dealing with since January.
After suffering a relapse this week, surgery became necessary. The procedure was successfully completed, and Asencio now faces a recovery period of approximately four months.
