Raúl Asencio has returned to training at Valdebebas after a difficult week marked by illness. The defender was diagnosed with bacterial enterocolitis, which led to hospitalization after his condition worsened, resulting in a weight loss of up to seven kilos. Following recovery, he rejoined the squad and completed the latest training session after the win against Alavés at the Santiago Bernabéu.

The issue began during a key week for Real Madrid. In the final training session before the trip to Munich, Asencio was forced to leave early after experiencing vomiting. He was unable to travel with the team and was later admitted to hospital as symptoms persisted.

Ongoing vomiting, weakness and general discomfort required medical tests to identify the cause. Once the most severe phase passed, the player was discharged and continued treatment at home under medical supervision before making his return to training.
