Beyond his impact on the pitch, Güler also stepped forward after the match. Following a tense ending marked by Eduardo Camavinga’s sending-off, no players spoke publicly, but the Turkish international broke the silence through social media.
“This isn’t how it should’ve been. We’re very sorry. We will be back. Hala Madrid.” he wrote on Instagram, sharing images with his teammates and from the pre-match huddle.
