Arda Güler is a major doubt for Real Madrid’s upcoming match against Betis after suffering muscle discomfort. The midfielder, who has become an important figure in Álvaro Arbeloa’s system, did not train with the squad in the final session before the trip to Seville for the game at La Cartuja.
Instead, Güler remained in the gym as a precaution and is set to undergo an MRI at Valdebebas to determine the extent of the issue and rule out any serious injury. The Turkish player completed recovery exercises under the supervision of a trainer and a physiotherapist.
