Fulham continue to look toward Real Madrid as they strengthen their squad under Álvaro Arbeloa. After securing the signings of Gonzalo García and César Palacios, pending official confirmation, the Premier League club has now set its sights on another Madrid academy product: Thiago Pitarch.

According to Marca, Pitarch has already reached a personal agreement with Fulham, bringing the move a step closer to completion.

The structure of the deal, however, has yet to be finalized. Two options remain on the table: a permanent transfer with Real Madrid retaining a percentage of the player's rights, or a loan move that would allow the midfielder to gain valuable first-team experience before returning to the Spanish club.

Pitarch's possible departure is largely driven by the limited opportunities he is expected to receive next season. The academy graduate broke into the first team last campaign during an injury crisis, but with the squad returning to full strength and the expected arrival of Rodri, his chances of regular minutes under José Mourinho appear increasingly limited.

A reunion with Arbeloa, who coached Pitarch during his time in Real Madrid, could offer the midfielder a clearer pathway to consistent playing time and further his development at the highest level.
