Speculation around Antonio Rüdiger's future intensified in recent hours after a social media photo surfaced showing the German defender alongside Fernando Hierro, Al-Nassr’s sporting director. The image immediately sparked rumors of a potential move to Saudi Arabia, a destination Rüdiger has previously acknowledged as a possibility for the later stages of his career.

However, transfer insider Santi Aouna has put the speculation to rest, reporting that Rüdiger has no intention of leaving Real Madrid this summer. On the contrary, the centre-back is now closer to signing a contract extension than making a high-profile move abroad.

Rüdiger, who has been a key figure at the club over the past three seasons, is expected to play a crucial role in Xabi Alonso’s debut campaign as Real Madrid manager. The German international is highly valued for his leadership on and off the pitch, and Alonso sees him as a pillar for the upcoming season.
