Anthony Randolph has been sidelined since June due to an ACL tear. His return to the basketball courts is getting very close.

According to Spanish journalist Pilar Cassado from COPE, head coach Chus Mateo told that Randolph could play in the next Liga Endesa game against Granada on Sunday.

Randolph twisted his knee awkwardly while defending Nikola Mirotic in Game 1 of the ACB Finals against Barcelona last year. The player had an ACL tear, which required surgery, it was later revealed.

Mateo previously said, "He is a player who has given us a lot in all these years and he deserves to return in front of our fans".

Over the course of his 7-year time, the veteran forward has appeared in 303 games for Real Madrid. In recent years, he has sustained numerous severe injuries. Randolph tore his Achilles in December 2020. He returned to the court almost a year after the injury only to tear his ACL six months later.
