He feels confident, driven, and determined to keep competing at the highest level until the very end. Neither the Brazil job nor any other opportunity has managed to change his stance.

The Brazilian national team, currently embroiled in a period of instability, has been actively exploring high-profile coaching options. Despite acknowledging their strong interest in Ancelotti—especially after the dismissal of Dorival Júnior—the Real Madrid coach gave a firm response: “I have a contract with Real Madrid and I’m happy. As long as they don’t say otherwise, I won’t listen to any proposals.”

With Ancelotti unwilling to entertain the idea of leaving Madrid, the Brazilian Football Confederation (CBF) turned their attention to Jorge Jesús, the current manager of Al Hilal. While Jesús remains under contract in Saudi Arabia, the CBF initiated contact to assess his availability. However, any formal agreement remains unlikely for now.

The presence of businessman Diego Fernándes—who is associated with the CBF—at the Santiago Bernabéu on Wednesday fueled speculation, but there was no meeting with Ancelotti or his representatives. The coach had already made his position crystal clear during Brazil’s last approach.

This wasn’t a case of indecision—it was a reaffirmation. Ancelotti intends to honor his contract with Real Madrid, which led Brazil to shift focus and pursue alternatives like Jorge Jesús.
