During his press conference prior to the match against Real Sociedad, Carlo Ancelotti was asked who deserves to win the Ballon d'Or this year between Bellingham and Vinicius.

He responded: "Both". This answer naturally caused an eruption of laughter in the room.

But Ancelotti is only being logical: Bellingham and Vinicius have been tremendous for Real Madrid this season with 21 and 19 goals respectively.

The winner might be determined in July when both players play in the Euros and Copa America. One could get the advantage if he fires his country to a continental title.
