Carlo Ancelotti received positive news this morning as both Antonio Rüdiger and David Alaba successfully completed full training sessions with the team. They may be included in the squad for the decisive Champions League return leg against Manchester City at the Santiago Bernabéu (9pm). Both players will undergo a final test tomorrow before the coaching staff makes a final decision. Of the two, Rüdiger has a better chance of starting, which could result in either Tchouaméni or Asensio being left out of the center-back position.

On the downside, Lucas Vázquez remains unavailable, as expected, due to the timeframe set for his recovery. As a result, Fede Valverde is likely to continue at right-back. Valverde did not participate in today’s group training due to minor discomfort from the Osasuna match, but he is expected to train tomorrow and should be in the starting lineup.
