Two players have recently caught attention at Real Madrid, not for their on-field contributions, but for their limited roles: Arda Güler (20) and Endrick (18). Despite the high expectations surrounding them, neither has yet become a central figure in Carlo Ancelotti’s plans. Güler, in particular, has sparked debate in Turkey due to his repeated absences, but Ancelotti is handling the situation with care.

In a composed and instructive manner, Ancelotti outlined the "process" both players are going through, emphasizing that this is a normal part of integrating young talent into the best squad in the world. Speaking specifically about Güler, Ancelotti said, “If anyone has doubts, they can come to my office. I’ve heard there’s talk of a ‘Güler Case,’ but that’s not something we see here. It’s a process—just like Rodrygo, Vinicius, and Valverde went through. He needs time to adapt, and anyone who doesn’t understand that, should.”

Ancelotti further elaborated on his daily interactions with Güler. “I’m with him every day. Sometimes he’s happy, sometimes he’s not—and that’s normal when a player isn’t getting game time. But he’s working, learning, and eager to play. That’s just part of the picture. He spends time with others too, and I don’t know if they share my vision for his development.”

Güler has only featured in one of Real Madrid’s last seven matches, playing 76 minutes in a Copa del Rey match against Leganés. However, the young Turkish midfielder understands that his situation is part of the challenges of being at a club like Real Madrid.

Ancelotti's comments about Güler could also apply to Endrick, though to a different degree. Despite boasting the best scoring average in the team—netting a goal every 80 minutes—the Brazilian forward has accumulated only 402 minutes across 24 games. His involvement has been minimal, with appearances often restricted to injury time, as was the case in recent matches against Manchester City and Girona. Only Vallejo and Alaba have seen less game time than Endrick.

Nevertheless, Ancelotti remains optimistic about Endrick’s future. “He’s not going to be like Rodrygo or Vinicius because his characteristics are different. But he’ll be a great striker, I have no doubt. There’s no ‘Endrick Case,’ at least not for now,” Ancelotti said with a hint of irony.
