Miguel Gutierrez's agent, Daniel Mendez, has hinted at the player's eagerness to return to Real Madrid, fueling speculation about a potential summer move.
In a recent statement, Mendez shared, "We would love for Real Madrid to bring back Miguel. Everyone is aware of his desire, but the decision is not entirely in his hands. If he returns, it would make us all happy."
Gutierrez, currently playing for Girona, has a release clause set at €35 million. However, Real Madrid has the option to re-sign their former left-back for a significantly lower fee of €8 million.
Despite facing injury setbacks this season, the 22-year-old has emerged as one of Spain's top-performing left-backs over the past 18-20 months. His performances have drawn interest from several top clubs, including Atlético Madrid, who are reportedly considering a move for him.
Nevertheless, Real Madrid’s ability to re-sign Gutierrez at a bargain price gives them a distinct advantage in any transfer battle. The club’s renewed interest in the player is said to have been triggered by their unsuccessful pursuit of Alphonso Davies from Bayern Munich.
