Italian news sources claim that AC Milan intend to approach Real Madrid about signing Brahim Diaz permanently. According to several Italian press reports, AC Milan and Real Madrid will soon start negotiations regarding the transfer of Brahim Diaz, who is currently on loan in Italy and whose loan period expires at the end of the current season. Considering Brahim Diaz's stellar performances with the Rossoneri, transfer market expert Fabrizio Romano revealed Milan's desire to sign the player permanently from Real Madrid.

Fabrizio added also that there is a clause in Diaz's loan contract, which enables Milan to buy the player at a value of 22 million euros, and that the White Club has a clause through which they can return the player in the future at a value of 27 million euros.

The Italian network Mediaset had stated previously that Los Blancos wanted to bring Brahim Diaz back to Madrid at the end of the season, after the end of his loan period with the Rossoneri. Brahim Diaz is now on his third season on loan from Real Madrid at Milan having initially joined for the 2020-21 season on a season-long spell and then coming back on a two-year loan deal in the summer of 2021.
