Zidane remains optimistic despite injury problems: “We are not going to look for excuses”

03 Oct 2020

Speaking ahead of the game against Levante, Zinedine Zinadine was asked about whether he’s disappointed with the injury crisis at Real Madrid and replied: “I have the luck of being here and I take advantage of every day that I have & always been positive. I do not see negative things even if things get complicated.

“We don’t like having injuries but we have to accept it. We are not going to look for excuses.

“My squad has a lot of talent but a lot of heart and things can get complicated but we can move things forward.”

Zidane has been dealt a lot of headaches recently as Dani Carvajal was ruled out for 2 months after getting injured yesterday and Alvaro Odriozola also suffered an injury. Eden Hazard and Toni Kroos are also unavailable for the game against Levante, but Zidane is staying positive as he aims to guide his side through the storm and come out with maximum points.
