“He is looking well because he is convinced that he will continue and that is the most important thing. I see him playing football for many years because he is someone who takes great care of himself,” Zinedine Zidane said when asked on Sergio Ramos’ future.
The coach added: “If you want to continue and take care of yourself, you have a great chance of continuing for a long time and I’m not surprised by what he does.”
The 34-year-old has been at Real Madrid since 2005. His current deal expires next summer and there’s no agreement reached on a new contract.
In 15 years at Real Madrid, Ramos has scored 100 goals in 663 matches, becoming the highest-scoring defender in the history of La Liga.
