Zinedine Zidane has made Vinicius’ progress his own private mission as he started giving the youngster private coaching sessions, L’Equipe report.
It’s unclear how long this has been going on for, as the paper does not specify it, but we assume it is a trend of recent weeks, as Vinicius’ form and decision-making in the final third started to improve.
And that’s exactly what Zizou has been working on: better calls from Vinicius in the opponents’ third. The extra time on the training ground bore fruit in last week’s 3-1 win over Liverpool, where Vini scored a brace.
Interestingly enough, L’Equipe adds that Rodrygo is another beneficiary of Zidane’s private coaching. The youngster struggles for game time since returning from injury in late February, only making one start since then.
