There have been few more successful transfers at Real Madrid in recent years than Keylor Navas’ move from Levante, his rise to the pinnacle of Europe’s goalkeepers has been astounding, as a result a film has been produced on his life with a trailer revealed on Thursday.
It is a filmed documentary which follows the story of the Costa Rican stopper and his journey to becoming Los Blancos’ first-choice.
Not only is it a sporting tale, but also a look at how the 30-year-old negotiated childhood in his home-town of Perez Zeledon.
The feature begins by showing Navas as a child making the decision to become a goalkeeper, the challenges he faced, including his size, are documented with it made clear just how he developed his craft.
Permission was granted by Real Madrid for a number of scenes to be filmed at the Estadio Santiago Bernabeu, these will be shown in the picture entitled, ‘Man of Faith.’
