This is Eden Hazard

10 Nov 2019

So this is Eden Hazard. For those who haven’t watched his Premier League highlights or don’t know just what he’s capable of, the Belgian put in stellar performance against Eibar, one that demonstrated his unquestionable qualities.

Passes, dribbles, rabonas, sprints, shots… but, above all, he showed the force he is with the ball at his feet and an ability to glide past defenders which only Lionel Messi can match in this sport.

The Belgian is a bullet and his very presence can alter the face of a team. He’s delayed his arrival, but those that were doubting him are now appreciating his magic.

As well as adding to his own performance, Hazard linked up with two world class players in Luka Modric and Karim Benzema.

When these three combine, it’s incredibly difficult for their opponents to stop them. The possibilities going forward are endless.

The fact that Hazard and Benzema speak the same language means they have a unique connection on the pitch, something we’ve been getting glimpses of in recent weeks.

With Modric back in form as well, there’s plenty for Real Madrid fans to smile about.

Neither Hazard, Benzema or Modric can make the difference like Cristiano Ronaldo used to, but they’re a constant threat in attack. It’s also fun to watch as a neutral, which goes a long way.
