Kylian Mbappe’s future is set to be one of the hot topics over the coming season.
The Frenchman is under contract at Paris Saint-Germain until the end of the 2021-2022 season and still hasn’t sat down with club representatives to discuss an extension to his deal.
According to The Times, Mbappe has told the club’s board that he wants to leave next summer and that they should speak to any potential suitors.
It’s well known that Real Madrid are big admirers of the young forward and public knowledge that the player would be keen on a move to the Spanish capital.
However, there are other clubs keeping an eye on the situation with both Manchester clubs being mentioned and of course Barcelona, who could well make a move if Lionel Messi leaves the Camp Nou next summer.
Mbappe, who is currently isolating after testing positive for coronavirus and is set to miss the Ligue 1 clash against Marseille this Sunday, has made his intentions clear that he wants to leave at the end of July after what would be four seasons in Paris and look for a new challenge.
