Telefonica become Real Madrid’s technological integration partner

09 Jul 2019

Florentino Perez and Emilio Gayo presided over an event in which a newly signed partnership between Telefonica and Real Madrid was made public, with the telecommunications giants becoming Los Blancos’ global technological integration partner.

A deal has been agreed until June 2023 as Los Merengues look to improve the technological aspects of club facilities.

“We are proud at Telefonica Spain that Real Madrid trust us and our capabilities to be the club’s integrator,” said the company’s CEO Gayo.

“It is a special day.

“We have started on a very exciting path for the coming years, with two large companies that are going to work together to confront and take advantage of the opportunities that the technological change we are experiencing offers us.”
