Tears of goodbye from Morata?

23 May 2017

Real Madrid clinched their 33rd LaLiga title on the last day of the season after a 2-0 win away at Malaga on Sunday, and Alvaro Morata has been a fundamental part of the success with 15 goals in 26 matches, but the Spaniard was very emotional during the celebrations and his tears have left many wondering if it was because he could be moving on.

A late goal from the Los Blancos forward against Villarreal back in February helped to secure a crucial three points, but just like when he played for Juventus he has been left frustrated by a lack of games.

Morata was separate from his teammates for most of the party but television cameras caught an image that could hint at the No.21’s exit; he was looking up at the supporters in floods of tears whilst he had the Spanish national flag wrapped around him.
