Spanish journalist and one of Ronaldo’s reportedly closest friends, Edu Aguirre has revealed that the Portuguese star would be willing to return at the Bernabeu.
“I know for sure that Cristiano has a desire to return to Real Madrid,” Aguirre told Chiringuito TV. “He felt the affection of Madrid when he came to Bernabeu, he was excited.
Ronaldo attended Sunday’s Clasico between his former side and Barcelona. The 35-year-old had a weekend off as Serie A confirmed on Saturday that Juventus vs Inter would be postponed due to the coronavirus outbreak in Italy.
Interestingly, that was the first time Cristiano has paid a visit to the Bernabeu since he left the club in 2018. The Portugal international left Los Blancos in 2018 after making 438 appearances, scoring 450 goals and making 131 assists.
