The pride of all madridistas, Real Madrid City is now 16 years old. It was inaugurated on 30 September 2005 and has constantly evolved to remain the best sports city in the world. Carlo Ancelotti’s squad works here on a daily basis and their training camps take place at the club’s residence.
Since 2016, the basketball team has also been fully integrated into Real Madrid City thanks to the pavilion. Laso’s team trains here and the junior basketball teams also play and train here. Real Madrid City is also where the women’s team trains and plays its home games, a venue that also host other events such as the Representative Members’ Assemblies.
Real Madrid City is home to the boys’ and girls’ youth football teams. Our youth teams’ training sessions and matches take place in these facilities, which include the Alfredo Di Stéfano stadium. This ground, which pays tribute to the greatest player of all time, is where Castilla, the women’s first team and the Under-19s UEFA Youth League’s team play their home matches. It also hosted first team matches during the coronavirus pandemic.
Corporate office building
An example of the growth of Real Madrid City is the corporate office building. In 2018, all the club and the Foundation employees moved to this building, where we have pursued the highest architectural and functional quality, taking into account the basic values of simplicity, transparency, sustainability and modernity.
