16 Jan 2020

Real Madrid won the Supercopa de Espana on Sunday after beating Atletico Madrid on penalties, a trophy they will present to their supporters at the Santiago Bernabeu on Saturday.

Los Blancos will be hosting Sevilla in what will be Julen Lopetegui‘s first return to the Bernabeu since being dismissed as Real Madrid head coach last season.

Sevilla will give Real Madrid‘s players a guard of honour as they come out onto the pitch, COPE have revealed.

As such, the Andalusians are returning the gesture made by Real Madrid as they gave the Sevilla players a guard of honour on the last day of the 2005/06 season after winning their first UEFA Cup.
