Sergio Reguilon will be a first team player for Real Madrid this season

Real Madrid‘s first team squad will include 21-year-old Sergio ReguilonJulen Lopetegui has confirmed. The left-back will deputise for Marcelo and take up the spot left by Theo Hernandez‘s loan move to Real Sociedad.

Reguilon has been at the club for eight years and signed a new contract in May, now finally positioning himself in the first team after rising through the ranks of the youth teams.

Reguilon will stay with us and he will be here, he’s from the youth system and he will get his chance,” Lopetegui revealed on Saturday morning.

A strong defensive player with attacking threat, Reguilon is known for good deliveries into the box after bombing down the wing.
