Santiago Bernabeu is the most profitable museum in Madrid

29 Jun 2019

Many tourists visit the Santiago Bernabeu whilst in Madrid as they look to understand what it is like to be a Real Madrid fan, director or player on match day.

Beyond the matches that supporters watch from the stands, the tour – which includes a trip to the museum, a view of the stadium from pitch level, the directors’ box or the dressing room – has become essential viewing for many people, regardless of who they support.

The Bernabeu is the third most visited museum in Madrid, behind El Prado and Reina Sofia, but it benefits the most economically.

Although Real Madrid have not confirmed these figures, Expansion note that with a price of 25 euros for adults and 18 for children under 14 years old, the annual turnover would reach 17 million euros due to it garnering more than a million visitors per year.
