The possible departure of Cristiano Ronaldo from Real Madrid means that there might be a space to fill in the Estadio Santiago Bernabeu dressing room and it is being reported in France that Kylian Mbappe could be joining the capital city side.
Although Los Blancos’ main target is still Neymar, Mbappe’s stock is on the rise and he has previously been a Real Madrid target.
The report comes from French journalist Baptiste Ripart, who has already made some correct predictions involving French players this summer, as he reported on Antoine Griezmann’s Atletico renewal and Thomas Lemar’s transfer to Los Rojiblancos.
He reports that a deal worth 272 million euros has already been agreed and that the fee will be paid to Paris Saint-Germain, who still have Financial Fair Play uncertainty, in four instalments.
However, sources from Real Madrid are denying that this report from Ripart is correct.
