Real Madrid have struggled for regular goals since the departure of Cristiano Ronaldo in 2018, but one potential addition that could help in this regard is Edinson Cavani.
The Uruguayan is currently a free agent after his contract at Paris Saint-Germain came to a close on June 30, and Rene Ramos has been charged with trying to secure a move to Real Madrid for the striker.
“Cavani has given Rene Ramos the power to negotiate with Real Madrid, not with other teams,” Roberto Gomez said on Radio MARCA.
“He has the right to negotiate with the Madrid team [as a free agent].
“It seems that Madrid are not going to bring anyone in, but we will see what happens with Rene’s good negotiations and Cavani‘s desire, because he wants to play at Real Madrid – it is the team where he wants to play.”
