Real Madrid will be in pot one for the next Champions League draw

Sevilla rose as the Europa League champion after beating Inter Milan in the final. That caused changes in the Champions League hype because the Seville team will enter into pot one in the draw.

The draw will take place on October 1 in Athens, once the pass of the six missing teams is certified to complete the table of 32 participants.

The competition will start on October 20, a month later than usual due to the coronavirus. They will be linked every week without a break in the first three days and then the last three.

From the round of 16, if the coronavirus allows, the calendar planning will be as usual for every year and the final is set in Istanbul, the venue scheduled for 2020. It will take place on May 29, just two weeks before starting the Euro.

Thus, the pots would be as follows:

Pot 1:  Real Madrid, Bayern Munich, PSG, Liverpool, Juventus, Zenit, Porto and Sevilla.

Pot 2:  Atlético Madrid, Barcelona, ​​Manchester City, Manchester United, Borussia Dortmund, Chelsea and Shakhtar Donetsk.

Pot 3:  RB Leipzig, Lazio and Lokomotiv Moscow.

Pot 4:  Atalanta, Inter, Olympique Marseille, Bruges, Borussia Mönchengladbach, Istanbul Basaksehir and Rennes (only the last two are sure to be in this last pot).
