Real Madrid to continue playing at the Di Stefano for LaLiga and Champions League

29 Aug 2020

Real Madrid have decided to continue playing at the Estadio Alfredo Di Stefano until fans are allowed back in stadiums.

Both UEFA and La Liga have confirmed that the season for Real Madrid will start on the September 19.

The Estadio Alfredo di Stefano has been home to Real Madrid since lockdown and has met all the requirements demanded by UEFA.

It will also host the League of Nations clash between Spain and Ukraine on September 6.

Renovations to the Estadio Santiago Bernabeu are still ongoing and although the new turf is being installed this week, Los Galacticos will continue using their Valdebebas training complex, so that work can continue on the ground without any delays.
