Real Madrid named the most valuable brand in world football according to Brand Finance

Real Madrid boast the most valuable brand in world football, according to the Brand Finance Football 50 report published in London by the independent consultancy firm, Brand Finance. The Whites’ brand is valued at €1.646 billion and Madrid lead the way ahead of Manchester United (€1.472bn), Barcelona (€1.399bn), Bayern Munich (€1.314bn), Manchester City (€1.255bn) and Liverpool (€1.191). These six clubs account for 40% of the brand values included in the report, which represents the 50 biggest clubs in the world game.

Brand Finance notes that Real Madrid‘s value has risen by 27% over the course of the past year, in part thanks to the club’s fourth Champions League success in the past five years. In addition, the Whites boast the biggest enterprise value in world football, whilst the Santiago Bernabéu tops the stadia performance ranking.
