Man United star Paul Pogba and Rennes starlet Eduardo Camavinga have been identified as Real Madrid’s priority targets for the summer, according to French publication L’Equipe.
As per the source, the decision was made after the Whites accepted the fact that Zidane’s dream signing Kylian Mbappe won’t be leaving Paris Saint-Germain at the end of the season.
Camavinga has emerged on Madrid’s radar as an alternative for Pogba lately but L’Equipe’s report adds that the Whites are keen on bringing both midfielders to Bernabeu this season.
The United ace has long been linked with a move to the Spanish capital but the Premier League giants don’t seem to be open to his departure anytime soon. He’s tied with the Red Devils until 2021 and United have an option to extend his stay at Old Trafford for another 12 months.
Rennes, on the other hand, are said to be ready to offload the 17-year-old for around €60m this summer with Madrid as favourites for the youngster.
