Real Madrid interested in Luis Scola

15 Sep 2019

At 39 and despite being without a team, Luis Scola has been one of the biggest names in the basketball world cup that ended up with the brilliant victory of Spain, thanks also to Madridistas Rudy Fernández and Sergio Llull.

The Argentine player has been included in the MVP Five of the tournament after averaging 19.3 points and 8.3 rebounds per game, which allowed him to lead his country with Campazzo, Laprovittola and Deck to stand in the final of the championship after defeating very powerful teams like Serbia or France.

The big surprise in relation to Scola is that there have been several media (Onda Cero and Cuatro TV, among others) that have ensured he is very close to signing for Real Madrid. The Argentine would arrive to complete an already spectacular squad with a totally secondary role, limiting his quality minutes to the maximum, but with the possibility of taking out his entire class at the decisive moments if Laso ends up betting on him.
