REAL MADRID have reportedly hijacked Barcelona’s move for Paris Saint-Germain contract rebel Adrien Rabiot.

The midfielder is heading to the Spanish capital after agreeing a contract with Zinedine Zidane’s side.

The 23-year-old is currently out in the cold at PSG for disciplinary reasons and his mother says he “is like a hostage” at the club and being treated unfairly as his time in Paris comes to its bitter end and teams line him up.

Rabiot was on Madrid’s agenda last summer as a replacement for Kovacic, who left for Chelsea, but in the end the deal never came to pass. His elegant style and quality are to Zidane’s liking.
