Real Madrid have the most valuable brand in world football

Real Madrid is the most valuable football brand in the world for the second year running, according to the Brand Finance Football 2020 report published by the consultancy firm Brand Finance. The Madrid club has a brand value of 1,419 million euros and leads the ranking ahead of Barcelona (1,413), Manchester United (1,315), Liverpool (1,262) and Manchester City (1,124) in a report that includes the 50 largest football clubs in the world.

In its analysis, Brand Finance points out that “Real Madrid continues to be the strongest brand in world football and the results indicate that the future will be better, having won the league this year”. On the other hand, the consultancy firm highlights that the club “has expanded its commercial offer by launching an innovative brand, Real Madrid Next, whose objective is to work with technology-oriented start-up companies. Real Madrid is also making good use of social networks to increase the participation of its fans, with the creation of the pay-per-use channel Madridista Nation”.
